The establishment of the regulatory body as a supervisory body and regulator of the drinking water and sanitation sector to achieve a balance between service providers and consumers is one of the important steps in restructuring the sector in order to develop it and increase its efficiency, as the vision for restructuring crystallized around the separation of both ownership and management (the holding company and the New Urban Communities Authority). ), Operation and Maintenance (subsidiaries and city agencies).
